  1. Double Click the Items form
    1. For a given drawing number, say 11000-1351, type “11000-1351*” the “*” is a wild card, so it will pull up all p/n’s beginning with 11000-1351
    2. There may be multiple, some with “XMO”, etc, just looking for dash numbers like “-1, -2,”
  1. Double click the ItemsWhereUsed (Report)
    1. Type either the same part number twice “11000-1351-1” in both fields, or if you want the full range of parts “11000-1351-1” to “11000-1351-3” for example
    2. Click “Preview” to pull up a pdf.   Do NOT use print, it goes to a printer that may not be set up
  1. The Report Viewer for a part will show
    1. Parent BOM numbers
    2. Job Numbers (ex. 1-17200-0000)—use JobBOMReport form to reference (what’s being built in the shop locally)
      1. Job numbers often pull a full BOM.  To find the customer order, find the top level BOM number at the top of the report.  Search ItemWhereUsed again under the top level p/n, and the customer order should appear.
    1. PO numbers (starting with “DXXXX”)—use Purchase Order form to reference (should have the Vendor and contact info)
    2. Customer Orders (starting with “PXXXX”)—use Customer Orders form to reference (contact info for the customer)
    3. "***EST/CUSTOMER ORDERS" numbers are QUOTES not orders.  you want just "CUSTOMER ORDERS" in terms of what is active
